opening effortlessly
towards the great sun

Harvest

Shaking the tree,
Almond pods fall to the ground,
Love's bounty.

Petals strewn upon the ground,
Effortless being . . .

How like a woman,
Her beauty to admire,
Her thorns to avoid.

California Summer

almond clusters
hang heavy on the bough
ripening

True revolution
Unfolds as the inner light
Ascends towards the Self.
